Robin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Therapy with certification in Music Education, K-12, from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. She has worked as a music teacher, teaching Kindergarten through 12th grade, and currently teaches piano lessons.

Robin worked with adults with developmental disabilities for ten years; as residence coordinator, neighborhood center coordinator, case manager, and music therapist.

Robin has been involved in her church's music ministry for the past 18 years, and has functioned as pianist, organist, choir leader, and worship leader.

Robin has homeschooled her two children since kindergarten. She has written her own multi-grade literature-based curriculum of the History and Geography of New York State, and is currently working on a version for publication.

Robin's website, Music in the Homeschool, gives parents the tools they need to teach music to their children and includes lesson plans, resource lists, and curriculum reviews.
